Get to Know Me

First up, who am I? Well, I am a Dutch International Business student who is taking “international” very seriously. I am a big travel addict with a love for beautiful views, rooftop bars, and good food! My travel dreams originate from a small town located in the land of cheese and windmills, AKA The Netherlands. Living in a small town has both advantages as well as disadvantages. Some stereotypes are true, and some are not. Mainly, it is quite calm and laid back, but the possibilities are limited. That, in connection with my eagerness to travel the world, is the reason I have started this blog!

I have been on several vacations, which I LOVED. However, I have officially started solo traveling this year. How, may you ask? Within my study program, it is mandatory to go abroad for at least 2 semesters. I had no trouble with that of course! My study program has allowed me to learn more about international business while exploring new cultures, places, and people.

In addition to my studies, I have recently started taking more photos with a professional camera. I am eager to learn more about photography and implement it in my future business plans. So, in addition to blog posts, I will also share my pictures and progress with you!

Current Location

I am currently living in Toronto, Canada. Till the end of December, I will be doing an internship at a digital marketing agency. However, next to increasing my knowledge of international business, I will be discovering this big city of course! I will take you with me on all exciting adventures, give you tips on where to go and what to do, and share some amazing views!

Upcoming Plans

Although I have just started solo traveling, I have several travel plans waiting for me! From February onwards, I will be living in Paris. Here, I will do a semester study for 5 months. Then, 6 months later, I will call another city my home for 5 months. Which city will that be? I don’t know! All these travel plans are related to my study program. However, I have some  personal trips planned as well. You’ll have to wait for the following posts to find out where I’m heading! 🙂

As for my plans for this blog, I will mostly create posts regarding travel tips, destination-based content, photography, and fashion & lifestyle. From reading these blogs you will be able to get some insights into both my travel adventures as well as some specific topics that may be of interest/importance to you. I hope you will enjoy it!
